We primarily use Open Source Linux operating systems and Free Software to deliver office services. This offers an immediate saving in capital costs. You are free to use the Free Software and install as many instances of it as you require. All major office functions required in a modern office can be performed by our Linux servers. Migration from a Microsoft based server to a Linux based server is simple and it does not matter what operating system your desktop computers use. Improvements in Linux desktop software is allowing us to offer excellent free alternatives to costly Microsoft office software solutions for you workstations.
Most licensed proprietary software means you do not own it, you are licensed to use it. The development of these products is driven by commercial considerations and often not for the benefit of the users. Open Source software, is in recent times, now more frequently backed by commercial companies. The software is free and payments can be made for value added services.
